Bombardier Global 5000

Launched in 2002, the Bombardier Global 5000 is a business jet based on the Global Express frame.  On the technical side, the Global 5000 can travel about 5,000 nautical miles or 9,300 km nonstop at Mach 0.80. For most air travels though, it is usually flown in 2.5 hours where the aircraft flies at speeds between Mach 0.85 and Mach 0.89.  Those figures make the Global 5000 one of the fastest long range jets available in the market right now.  Its technologically advanced system also makes short work of short runways.

Just like the Bombardier Global Express XRS, the Global 5000 has an aft stateroom /bedroom where one can retreat to rest especially during long flights.  The interior trim could also be customized to fit the needs and wants of owners.  From the modern, comfortable, and luxurious seats to the state of the art digital cabin electronic system, the Bombardier Global 5000 has what it takes to compete side by side with similarly sized private jet.

The technical specifications of the Global 5000 are enough to make it a favorite among business jet consumers.  But it would not be complete without a luxurious and spacious interior which the 5000 does not fail to deliver.  Although shorter than its sibling, the Bombardier Global Express XRS, the 5000 still has plenty of room, enough to accommodate up to 18 passengers apart from the crew.  A typical configuration for the 5000 though only takes into consideration 8 passengers with plenty of room to spare.
