Launched in 2002, the Bombardier Global 5000 is a business jet based on the Global Express frame. On the technical side, the Global 5000 can travel about 5,000 nautical miles or 9,300 km nonstop at Mach 0.80. For most air travels though, it is usually flown in 2.5 hours where the aircraft flies at speeds between Mach 0.85 and Mach 0.89. Those figures make the Global 5000 one of the fastest long range jets available in the market right now. Its technologically advanced system also makes short work of short runways.
Just like the Bombardier Global Express XRS, the Global 5000 has an aft stateroom /bedroom where one can retreat to rest especially during long flights. The interior trim could also be customized to fit the needs and wants of owners.
