Dassault Falcon 50EX

The Dassault Falcon 50EX may no longer be in production but it is still very much in demand thanks to its combination of reliability and comfortable cabin.  The Falcon 50EX was the replacement for the Falcon 50 and given better engines and the interior was redesigned to make it more comfortable and luxurious.

The Falcon 50EX can comfortably seat nine people providing plenty of amenities along the way.  This super mid-sized jet can also be configured to provide seating for 19 people.  Its space makes it a great place to use as an extension of the office with options for adding telephone, fax machines, computer, and satellite communication available.

A trijet, the Falcon 50EX has three Honeywell TFE731-40 turbofans with each putting out 16.46 kN.  Two of the three engines are located on the rear section of the fuselage while the third engine is located on top and it is equipped with a thrust reverser.  The power produced by the three engines can propel the Falcon 50EX to speeds reaching Mach 0.8.

On the cockpit which accommodates a flight crew of two, a Rockwell Collins Pro Line 4 electronic flight information system with four displays along with Sully Produits Speciaux windscreen panels makes piloting the aircraft easier for the crew. A Rockwell Collins APS-4000 autopilot complementing the combination of ADC-850C air data system and dual FMS-6100 flight management systems makes it even safer.  As for the technical options, a Max-Vis EVS-1000 enhanced vision system could be added to the Falcon 50EX which dramatically increases the pilot’s situational awareness.
