Gulfstream G650

All the superlatives that matter can be had with the Gulfstream G650 as its manufacturer claims.  This is currently the largest, fastest, and most expensive Gulfstream business jet. Being hailed as the gold standard in business aviation means plenty of standard features that would rival those found on more expensive jets.

Being the fastest would be in vain though if the jet lacks in comfort.  That is why Gulfstream engineers had to go to great lengths to ensure that the cabin would be longer, wider and taller than any jet can offer within its class.  It can accommodate 18 people comfortably and in style. There are also 12 floor plans to choose from to make the G650 truly a perfect fit for anyone’s needs.

Its speed alone is enough to astound any buyer as it is the only traditional business jet that can reach Mach 0.925.  To reach that speed, the Rolls-Royce BR725 engines provide 16,100 pounds of force each.  For longer destinations, the cruising speed for the Gulfstream G650 is rated at Mach 0.85or 904 kilometers per hour.  For sprints, it has a cruising speed of Mach 0.9 or 957 kilometers per hour.  Its power is also complemented by its versatility being able to land or takeoff with on a field length of just 6,000 feet.

Advanced safety features are standard with the G650 like the Enhanced Vision System which feeds clear images of the surroundings to the pilot to aid in landing or takeoff.  This comes in handy during zero visibility operation.  It also comes with the PlaneView II cockpit which on is equipped with a 3-D weather radar, Automatic Emergency Descent Mode, and a host of other advanced safety features.
